As an upcoming senior majoring in Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University, I am very excited about the listing for a ‘budding online marketing genius’ that is posted on Craigslist. I believe that my academic background and my experiences with interactive media and marketing make me an excellent fit for this internship at thehappycorp.As you can see from the enclosed resume, I have had many internships in the marketing field. Most recently, I worked for McCann Erickson, where I not only further developed my knowledge of advertising and marketing but also gained an understanding of SEO and PPC. Since I have always been an extremely avid internet user with great Google (re)search skills, SEO naturally sparked my interest. I am also well versed in using different types of media for promotions, including internet, and I have a broad understanding of general marketing, advertising, and promotional techniques from my various experiences.
In addition, I have a working knowledge of HTML, and I am extremely detail-oriented, sometimes to a near-neurotic degree. I also just believe that thehappycorp would be a wonderful place to work because of its encouragement for innovative thinking, creativity, and the unique pursuit of truly making people happy!
